Seyfi Teoman sadly passed away on May 8, 2012 after a tragic traffic accident. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.
We will pay a tribute to Mr. Teoman at the screening of his film "Summer Book," on Wednesday, May 9 (tonight), 6:20pm at the Walter Reade Theater (165 W. 65th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues).

Panel discussion at the Film Center Amphitheater on Sunday, April 29th, “The Trajectory of Cinema in Turkey”, on the past, present and future of Turkish cinema; filmmakers & film scholars in attendance: Mr. Ali Ozgenturk, director of HAZAL and writer for The Girl with the Red Scarf; Ms. Yesim Ustaoglu, director of Journey to the Sun, Mr. Raşit Çelikezer, director of Can; as well as Fatih Ozguven and Zeynep Dadak.
